Programmes
Whether you are in your first year of LLB, preparing for admission, or a law firm wanting to sharpen your team โ there is a LawPrep Co. programme for where you are right now. Below is what we teach and the modules and subjects we offer.
What We Offer
Four ways we help you succeed in law โ from your LLB, through admission, and into practice.
Advocate-led Saturday tutoring and exam revision for LLB students, live online and nationwide. UNISA distance students and contact-university students learn together โ South African law is the same, only the module codes differ.
A structured six-week certificate course in legal drafting: pleadings, affidavits, heads of argument and opinions. Open to students, graduates and candidates, with a Certificate of Completion issued under Adv. I. Naidoo.
Preparation for the Legal Practice Council board exams โ the admission exams for attorneys and advocates. Led by a practising advocate who knows exactly what the examiners are testing.
On-site or online corporate training for law firms. Sharpen your team's drafting, procedure and practice skills, tailored to your firm and delivered at your premises.
Session Format
Join live on our virtual platform every Saturday, in small interactive groups, so you can ask questions and get real interaction.
Attend from any province in South Africa. All you need is a laptop or phone and a connection. Live interaction with the tutor and other students.
Every session is recorded. If you miss a Saturday, watch the full recording within 72 hours at your own pace.
Track 1
For students registered for the UNISA LLB (degree 98680) studying from home without in-person support. Sessions are module-specific and exam-focused, taught alongside contact-university students in the same room โ the law is the same, only the module codes differ.
Our current programme covers 16 third- and fourth-year exam subjects, with a full 8 hours of tutoring per subject โ live on our virtual platform, with 72-hour recordings. See the full schedule on the timetable, or browse every UNISA module we support on What You'll Cover.
Need a subject not listed? Tell us โ subjects with enough enrolment requests are prioritised.
Track 2
For full-time LLB students at UP, Wits, UJ, NWU and other contact universities. The same model that worked for extra lessons at school โ but for law. Book a single session or take a full-semester package per subject.
South African law is the same at every university. Law of Contract is Law of Contract whether you study at UP, Wits, UJ, or UNISA. Our sessions are subject-based โ so a Saturday session on Delict serves every student in the room, regardless of institution. You get professional tuition on top of your full-time lectures, in the same format you used for school extra lessons. The difference is that it has been designed by an Advocate.
By Demand
Beyond the Saturday exam-prep programme, we run dedicated portfolio and assignment support sessions for UNISA students during the week, on demand. If you need help with an assignment or portfolio submission, ask us when you register.
Post-LLB Track
You have your LLB. Now you need to be admitted. The Legal Practice Council (LPC) admission exam stands between your degree and your career as an attorney or advocate. Thousands sit it every year. Many fail โ some more than once. We help you pass it the first time.
LLB graduates currently completing pupillage. LLB graduates doing articles at a law firm. Candidates who have previously attempted the LPC exam and need to pass on their next attempt.
Led by Adv. I. Naidoo โ a practicing civil litigation advocate who has been through this process and knows exactly what the examiners are testing.
